Let's get started

    Fold back your MX-5's soft top and let's get to it. Grasp the OEM wind deflector directly above each mounting point, firmly pull straight up and off the car and place it into your parts bin.

    Take the acrylic wind deflector and observe the orientation of the mounting points that go into the receptacles. The 'hook' ends should be open to the back of the car.

    Set the posts down into the receptacles until they're full inserted. You may not sense the posts engaging, so make sure they're snug.

    The acrylic wind deflector also comes equipped with adjustable, rubber mounting pads that grip the roll bars. If necessary, you can firm up the wind deflector further by sliding the rubber mounting pads up until they grip tighter against the roll bars.
