Our complete dipstick is simply a replacement for the OEM dipstick in your vehicle. The top hole in the
sinker will match the F mark on the factory dipstick. Our sinker is a bit shorter than the full range of the
OEM dipstick. To read our dipstick, simply hold the sinker up and inspect which holes have oil in them. If none of the
holes have oil, it's time to top it off! When installing our dipstick, use a dab of oil from the OEM dipstick to lubricate the o-rings.
