Scratch and Dent?
Occasionally, we get new parts or returns that have cosmetic blemishes that do not affect the functionality of the part. Rather than toss them in the scrap bin, we offer the parts for sale at a deeply discounted price. In many cases, the location of the blemish prevents it from even being seen once the part is installed. Like all of our products, we still guarantee it to be the correct fit and to work properly and will offer to exchange components should anything need adjustment. Please note that we do not issue refunds for scratch and dent parts.
Lightweight Underdrive Crank Pulley for Scion tC 2005-2008 (2.4L 2AZ-FE)
This undersrive crank pulley is exactlly 3% smaller diameter than the stock pulley. Reducing the size of the crank pulley reduces the draw from engine accessories, by slowing them down. That frees up power to the drive the wheels leading to as much as a 15 HP boost. You will need to change to a smaller diameter belt, but will also reduce wear on the new belt with this pulley. CravenSpeed crank pulleys come perfectly balanced, and feature anodizing for superb wear resistance & strength.
Releasing Power
The rule of thumb is that each pound of weight taken off the engine's rotating assembly is worth approximately 2.7HP. The concept is that the crank is a parasite; it does not put power to the drivetrain but still requires the energy produced by the engine to rotate. When you reduce this parasitic weight, you release power that was previously used only for spinning the supercharger and alternator.

We ship orders every weekday. All orders placed by 2:00 pm PT will ship the same day. You will receive a shipping notification when we print the label for your order. The tracking will not indicate that the order has been shipped until it is picked up and scanned in by the carrier. Orders placed after 2:00 pm PT on Friday will ship on Monday.
