iOS Instructions

Install and Open your OBD Scanning software and make sure that you have selected the OBDII (VeePeak) device as the reporting device. We recommend DashCommand (US$9.99) or Car Scanner ELM OBD2 (free).

Connect Bluetooth OBDII Diagnostic Tool to the OBD socket in your vehicle and turn ignition to position 2, or until the red LED indicator is illuminated. In most new cars, this is done by taking your foot off the brake, and pressing the start button.

VeePeak will show up in the Bluetooth settings, but DO NOT connect here. Stay within your chosen app or start the app.

Select the OBDII (VeePeak) device in the app. If prompted, enter the pairing code. The pairing code is 1234.
Android Instructions

Pair the Bluetooth OBDII Diagnostic Tool with your device. In Android, these setting can be found by pressing Settings->Wireless & networks->Bluetooth settings->Scan for devices.
Select the OBDII (VeePeak) device. When prompted, enter the pairing code. The pairing code is 1234. The correct status will read: Paired but not connected

If you're having problems pairing, try restarting the phone. You can also try turning Bluetooth off and back on before trying again.

If you are using Torque BHP, verify that everything is working properly when all icons on the top right of the screen are blue and have stopped blinking. Have fun viewing / logging data!!
